Rise Up

It has been quite a while since my last post and I unfortunately never finished blogging my cross-country trip because, well, life is busy.  This past weekend I was inspired to get some images up on the blog again!  I was invigorated by all of the hard work, courage, positivity, spirit, and unity of the women's marches in the U.S. and across the world. 

I escaped the D.C. area for vacation during the inauguration but was grateful to join some amazing women, men and children at the Texas State Capitol in Austin. Below is some journalistic coverage of a peaceful protest on the night of the inauguration and the Women's March the following day.
